Check out the video or read below to find out more.

The Beginning of It All

1999 saw the first "Cadillac Van Isle 360° International Yacht Race". The race's popularity went up & down over the years, until upgrades were made in 2011. Since then, the race has changed its course and become well-known in the province of BC.

Cheekee Monkee

William will be sailing on a trimaran called the "Cheekee Monkee" along with his teammates. He says the fun name is a reflection of their personalities. But things weren't always fun  - an older version of the boat actually capsized back in 2007!

A Year To Celebrate

This year happens to be the 20th anniversary of the Van Isle 360° Sailing Race. This marks twenty years of blood, sweat and tears from passionate sailors coming from British Columbia and beyond.

Still staying alert and on his feet, William enjoys snapping tons of photos and videos of the views, himself, and his teammates.
